Pokemon Go Sets Historical Records in App Store Downloads

Pokemon Go has remained in the top headlines for being one of the most popular augmented reality games in the gaming history. Apple has not revealed the exact download figures for Pokemon Go but the app has reportedly churned massive revenues by 11^th July, 2016 itself. It comes as no surprise that all adults and kids have remained hooked to the game. Amidst some bad news of accidents the hysteria surrounding the game has been maintained so far.

According to SuperData Research firm the game has already made a whopping $14 million and its daily revenue earning has been estimated as $2 million in the first week (of its launch) itself. App Store has confirmed the fact that Pokemon Go has been the most downloaded mobile app since its release. In spite of the true numbers not being revealed it is being considered by industry experts that the game has redefined frenzy and hysterics. The app developer, Niantic had collaborated with The Pokémon Company to publish this free-to-play mobile app on 5^th of July, 2016 without knowing the possible battle that would set in soon after the launch.
